150 the first time, 82 the second - Paramedic
My first attempt was 150 and I knew I didn't do well. My second was 82 and knowing that I got the last one right was a huge relief! This was my for Paramedic test.
I used EVERYTHING out there!
I finally got my results back and I can proudly say I passed my Paramedic the second time through. The first attempt I used just my class notes and book... didn't do too well and I left with that sinking feeling. After that it was game time and I was going to use...
You will feel like you've forgotten everything from school and that you're going to leave the patient worse off than you found them... then about ten minutes into it, you'll realize this isn't as bad as you thought and that's where the real fun begins.
You're gonna do great
Confused with my cardiology - why do we reverse lead IV on a 12-lead? I must have blanked out during lecture because this part completely escaped me and I can't find it anywhere. THanks.
I had a patient who initially was unconscious and vomiting. He came to a bit and was able to say that he smoked marijuana and took "spices". Anyone had experience with that? Normal BP, tachycardic at around 145.
Thanks
Just gotta do it
Here is my two cents - you have just got to do it. We all do this job to advance our careers and this is very common. If you don't do it, who will? I am a EMT now working on getting my paramedic. When that cert happens, which will hopefully be soon, you will have all this great...
