As the people before mentioned I think you will get better value out of the AMLS class. ACLS is just about rhythm recognition and a some drugs. The AMLS class is more in-dept about medical condition's which will help you immensely as a EMT.

Treat them as if this is the first time you have seen them. If they have been to the ER for a similar complaint make note of it and pass it on the staff of the ER. I am sure they will know who they are.
