I hear you but was just giving him a starting point and hoping he’d finally start asking someone he actually works for these important questions. Figured if he’d talk with a billing person and then didn’t get a complete answer there, he’d finally ask a supervisor and get more information on how...
Dude seriously you need to lay off attacking everyone who isn’t spoon feeding you the answers you want. This is real basic stuff. Your employer should be telling you how they need things documented. Billing is a real thing and they will know best for how it needs to be done and can guide you...
I don’t believe so but I’m not in Virginia. However there are several issues with just going off what the computer interpreted on a 12-Lead. To start the interpretation isn’t always right, there may be subtle changes that it misses, if you incorrectly place the leads you can get incorrect...
I’m honestly beginning to wonder if we shouldn’t just lock his account so he can’t post anymore. We’ve tried being nice and then firm but he just doesn’t get it.
Young man that is not a good way to get information that you want or to interact well on any forums you may join. Keep in mind you’re very, very new to this profession and have been having people with a heck of a lot longer experience than you, telling you things you don’t want to hear. Lots of...
Actually the questions you have been asking are not that advanced. I never said you were stupid, but you might not have retained all the information you think you have. Every one. Of your posts asking questions has been people telling you to ask your instructors. That’s not a sign of us not...
If you’re still having this much trouble understanding the material, reread your book, or retake the class. I’ve been reading the questions you’re asking and this is stuff that should have been discussed in your class. Either you weren’t paying attention and managed to somehow pass anyways, or...
I was a computer field engineer before I started in EMS. That was 21 years ago. God forbid something happens and I can’t work EMS anymore, it would probably be two years of studying and getting new certifications to be able to do that job again. Not even sure I’d want to do that kind of work...
I’ve got old t-shirts that are still like new, but have our old base name on them. So I just use them as workout shirts at the gym. Being in a military town nobody notices or cares, and I’d much rather put them to use, than to rip them up and use them to clean my rifles.
If they are at the facility and the staff there is doing all the work it wouldn’t be an EMTLA violation. They are just using your stretcher as a extra bed essentially and tying you up from being able to go available for another call. It’s messed up to be sure, but when there are no appropriate...
True, but how often have we seen it where they haven’t made any inquiries too. Also a better question would have been does anyone work with this organization or know someone who does. It’s a question that someone who works there would know or someone familiar with the organization.
You’ll lose. You got advice you needed and in EMS the way it works with the test is you either know the material and can apply it or you don’t. NREMT is testing not on how much you can remember, but how do you apply the information into a given situation.
