This one gets me every time..... Person calls 9-1-1......when I get there, the first thing they say.... Do I have to go to the hospital? Or a some version thereof. This truly makes my blood boil. And not much gets to me.

A month or so ago there was a post about becoming an EMT. What EMS is and what it isn't. It was a great writing to give to students or read during a first class. Can anyone direct me to where this is in the forum? I've tried searching but I can't find it. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum. I am also from CT. I, too, made a career change a few years ago. It's a great job but definitely not like what you see on TV. If it's something you really want to do then go for it!! Good Luck!!
