I have found only a few EMS grants and it seems like there are paywalls for access to some of this information.

There are literally dozens upon dozens of federal, state and local grants that relate to EMS projects. You just have to know where to look for them.

Here’s a tip. Many of them do not specifically mention emergency medical services.

Thanks for really narrowing it down. I guess I'll follow these tips like I'm on blues clues or something and it will save me a lot of time.

Is this snarky reply because @NomadicMedic called you something derogatory in another thread?

If so, get over it. His reply above seems in earnest.

Lol, ironically enough you two sound similar goal-wise. He’s a big grant nerd and has been one of the few posters on here who’s advice I’d take seriously.

Thanks Vent. @Tigger had also been very successful in the grant world at his previous service.

I think I’m just put off by the OPs attitude. If you want to find grants, do the research. it’s really not difficult. Just time consuming and requires a lot of attention to detail. Also, there are long term projects, often taking a year or more from application to funding. But if you want to Oren the ins and outs of grants, there are plenty of templates and self help articles out there, NonProfit.org offers a excellent class on grant writing. Learn how to develop a compelling story and learn how to meet the grant requirements and go for it.

AFG is the big grant everyone applies for, I’ve got a package in the works now for a new HazMat/ALS vehicle, but most people dont know about the microgrant option. That’ll allow you to build a smaller (<$50k) project and fund it. There are also dozens of local foundations that provide grant opportunities. Those are grants are won by playing politics and building relationships. You have to show them your projects value. That’s how I bought LUCAS 3 devices.

But, eh what do I know?
