I need some recommendations of ambulance companies in Brooklyn, NY who'd hire me. I'm A NYS EMT-B for 5yrs with barely any hands on experience teaching CPR & First Aid on occasion and I'm looking to ride an Ambulance to gain that experience.
I currently work full time as an electrician and my only free time is Saturday night and Sunday.
Pay isn't a must, but to gain experience is. Please help.

(Might help to know how far you are willing to travel/if you're looking into particular neighborhoods.)

Are you open to volunteering? There are a couple volunteer agencies in Brooklyn, a couple are:

- Bedford Stuyvesant Volunteer Ambulance Corps
- Bensonhurst Volunteer Ambulance Service
- East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
- Flatlands Volunteer Ambulance Corps
- Park Slope Volunteer Ambulance Corps Inc

Here's the NYS list of all transporting & ALS agencies, organized by county. The list for Kings County starts on page 58.

Alternatively, here's the list of all agencies in NYC (five boroughs) from the NYC REMSCO.

SeniorCare, I hear, hires part-timers.

plenty of transport/IFT companies in NYC. Most of them suck, and I doubt you will get the experience you are looking for. The hospitals are much much better, often hire part time, but it's nearly impossible to get hired without experience.

If you feel inclined to cross the hudson, there are plenty of places that hire part timers.... but the tolls will kill you.
