Looking for resources for refresher on skill stations

Hello everyone.

Can anyone point me to resources to brush up and refresh on the skill stations for EMT? Are there just the YouTube videos or is there literature somewhere that is current?

I used the search function and have come up empty handed.

Where are you located? Will you be testing NR or just state? That would make a difference in where we may refer you to.

NR - I'm in Louisiana. I didn't know if there was any literature on the skill stations. I've written up guides on the Trauma Assessment and I guess, if I can't find anything, I'll be writing guides on the other skill stations as well.

Have you downloaded the National Registry skill sheets? They are a step by step guide to the stations. Memorize the skill sheet, pass the assessment station. (That's the path most people take, and what I teach)

I have. Just looking to see if there is some literature on it as well. Some kind of learning aids or anything along those lines.

It's really pretty self explanatory. Simply follow the sheet in a linear fashion. Memorizing and practice are what you need.

I don't really think learning aids are needed for the NREMT skills. It's really just a A-B-C-D format and congratulations you pass

I'd focus on memorizing the skill sheets. I found YouTube videos helpful, on occasion. There are some decent sheets out there (example) that go into a little more depth about what to say.
