Hey there,
Recently I've gotten some pretty sweet lapel pins at a couple EMS conferences. Was wondering if your service happens to sell theirs. Would like to start a little collection of them from different EMS services for fun. If you know where I can get one, let me know! Thanks everyone!
I was just reading this article http://www.emsworld.com/news/11150967/ohio-agency-to-provide-txa-to-patients
I live in Ohio so I had heard about this a while ago.
Also a good radio show discussing TXA http://www.medflightradio.com/txa-changing-the-game-in-ems/
Just wondering if any...

My friend who was in the army sold me one of these and its pretty awesome. You can add a bunch of pouches and things for extra storage.
I've met EMTs that seem heartless and have no compassion but it just reminds me that I need to treat my patients well and not be like those guys. Yeah, I get the gossip thing but again its just a good example of what I don't want to end up like. EMTs try to talk about people behind their backs...
I look forward to meeting some of these "paragods" when I start school and hopefully not becoming one. I'm so young and inexperienced compared to most (all) of EMTs and medics I run with, all I do is ask questions
I get thanked a lot here in the town I live in. Especially the elderly folks we pick up. Might not do much but chat with them and take them to the hospital but they are always appreciative.
Also, I was in school just last year and the one item I wish I would have purchased early on was a blood pressure cuff to practice taking blood pressures manually.
