    Correct me if I'm wrong, but a physician technically only has to complete a 1 year residency to practice (specifically primary care). Additionally don't PAs who do residencies do so along side of their MD/DO counterparts? Times are changing. You can complete medical school in 3 years...

    Most PA programs require paid healthcare experience with direct patient contact. Unfortunately some schools focus more on high grades and don't require HCE like western university and USC. This trend is something that erks PAs today.
