I have an interview with AMR Rancho coming up, I've read through the old threads on here, but just wanted some updated info.
Medic pay on a 24? Relationship with fire? Is AMR still being dispatched without fire on certain calls? 911/IFT breakdown?
Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear that Mike, thats a bummer. So since you were a transfer were you able to go back to your division?
I'm surprised to hear there are alot of burn outs there, isn't it not too busy in general? As a medic how often would you run IFTs?
What was pay @ step 4? Raises every 6 months...
Thanks NPO. Did you ever function as a medic or did you stick to skills instructing? What was roughly the call volume for a 24 and breakdown of 911/IFT?
How do you guys like it there? Some recruitment guys are coming to my school pretty soon here, are you guys actually hiring or is this something they do for every graduating medic class?
Depends on how you define "sucks". Its super expensive to live there but I would move to SF in a heart beat. Awesome, beautiful city with tons to do and see.
You mean the stuntman who was working on Spiderman 2 dressed up as NYPD? It took me about 5 minutes to find this:

And actually, I do change my view on things if people make valid points...
I asked because he clearly was NOT stopped for most of the time. Then you started talking about some "hero complex" which the video also has nothing to do with.
Did we watch the same video? I just watched it again and hes driving for easily 3/4's of the video.
Theres nothing wrong with enjoying life, but you're being paid to represent the company and carry yourself professionally in the eye of the public. This is not that and really quite...
The previous definition of "first-in" in this thread is correct, this one is not. What he just described is still an IFT....You will not respond code 3 and you will definitely not transport if the call is deemed ALS.
