Long story short, you start with a certain type of rock like flint. Glass breaks by the same "rules" as well. You strike the rock and knock off flakes and remove what isn't an arrowhead. If you have a bored spare minute go to utube and search flintknapping. If you watch part of one of them you will get the idea.
Yeah I still cant seem to figure it out from the pictures you posted. Sorry, I am southern, but not that southern! haha!
That is making arrowheads just like Indians did. It is pretty hard, but I enjoy trying to get better.
