    Hi,

I'm looking for ideas on how to recognize excellent patient care, either weekly, or monthly...

looking for something that can be posted on a bulletin board. as part of our QI, we are always looking for improving our agency, but we probably don't spend enough time on what we do well..

    any ideas?

Our company always post a monthly stats form showing the number of customer compliments a person receives. They also fill out little cards with direct quotes from the customers and place them in our mailboxes. It's not much, but in such a thankless world and a career that is mostly ruled by intimidation methods, it goes along way.

One of many problems is lacking of "customer service" and recognition of those that provide that "extra" to our clients.

I have attempted to initiate such programs and usually management will allow it to stop and not resurface it.

It can be something simple as a plaque, gift certificate or even acknowledging them at the next staff meeting.
