It would be cool to start a list of professional peer reviewed journals for EMS.

While I know there are many related professional journals for doctors, nurses, and many of our comrades, I am only interested in EMS and Pre-hospital specific ones. So please please try to keep any mentioned journals specific to EMS and Pre-Hospital care.
Publications online or in print from anywhere in the world maybe listed. In fact, ones from outside the USA are encouraged

Prehospital Emergency Care and Prehospital and Disaster Medicine are the only two dedicated EMS journals.

Most EM journals publish prehospital research... Annals of EM, Journal of EM, Academic EM, etc.

Any preference between PEC and Prehospital and Disaster Medicine?

Unrelated, PEC has a *much* higher impact factor of the two.

Correct me if I am wrong here, but these both appear to be U.S. publications? Are you sure these are the only 2 in exsistence?
What of the UK, Australia, new zealand, Canada, all of the EU, and the rest of the developed world?

In other countries EMS providers may consist of doctors and nurses. Journals like Resuscitation, European Journal of EM and Journal of Trauma also have articles that extend beyond the field since many will have experience and education beyond the field which might be a requirement to be a prehospital provider. Even for the countries which have Paramedics, their clinical experience and education will open them up to broader interests rather than reading the very basic articles found in many of the US magazines. They see EMS as part of health care as it relates to many different aspects of medicine rather than an isolated and different entity. Those in EMS should be required to read journals of various types to gain a deeper appreciation of how large the world of medicine really is and that care does not stop once the patient enters the ER.

I don't know of any dedicated prehosital journals outside the US. If anyone knows of any, by all means let us know.

I quick search showed a mention of "EMS Management Journal", which I don't know anything about. I did forget to mention Air Medical Journal.
