Hey folks

I'm just wondering, in the world of apps and emergency medicine, can anyone suggest any apps they have found (specifically for I phone) which they found to be useful In Every day work?

References
Calculations
ETC....

These are my most used apps.

Medscape.

Epocrates - though I hate that it doesn't give me the drug class. Anyone know an app that does?

Convertbot

Dosagecalc

Itriage - haven't used it much

Itranslate has been handy

and "Heart Rate" just because it's cool that the phone has that capability to get a HR.

I'm surprised palmpedi hasn't popped up, yet. Broselow tape on your phone. Goes by weight and brings up everything the tape does.
Also have palmem, which is pretty great but expensive.
And lastly my little trick for geriatrics. Ear spy app. Keep a pair of shoddy headphones on me, give them to the pt if they can't hear me. Acts as an amplifier when you speak so you don't have to yell.

Active 911, Google Maps, Spotify, flashlight app

Epocrates (free). Has a lot of extras on it besides just meds. For example, a MAP calculator.

Tabers (about $50/year). Expensive, but worth every penny!
