Hello guys

A friend of mine finished his EMT-B course in December. He wants to take the exam within the next month, so he was wondering what is a good review book to pass the NREMT-B exam?

He mentioned a few, Mosbys, Kaplan, McGraw-Hill, Barrons or Arco?

Will it be best to read one of those review books first, or just take the practice/review exams on each chapter?

Thanks,

Ed

Seriously, just tell him to study whatever textbook they used in class. The test is not that difficult to anyone who doesn't have a learning disability or a problem with attention deficit disorder. The material for EMS education is written at something like fifth or sixth grade reading level so it's not hard to digest. If he studies the book he should be fine and taking that route will also keep his hard-earned money where it belongs: in his wallet.
