AREMT would like to say,we don't monitor a lot of these comments from any sites as the information is incorrect most of time....to put things straight AREMT has NEVER claimed medics (as a general term)will
be employed in Australia or Internationally by being registered through AREMT process...that being said,in Australia and Internationally we have more than 50EMS employer groups requiring or accepting registration subject to our VETTING,EXAMINATION and registration.....we are also acceptance in UAE/KSA regions by various Health and Ambulance Authorities....as they employ AREMT registered expats and medics....
in Australia NO registration is required anywhere, however we have state, private and Industry medics registered as a matter of their own choice or once again employers asking for AREMT registration......and the current AHPRA process for PARAMEDICS ONLY is ongoing...PA IS NOT A REGISTRATION BOARD....please pass on the correct information...
AREMT does have an EMS Advisory Board,we do not post it up as it represents the global medics interests.....regarding LEVELS of registration....AREMT created based on NREMT back in 2004...the same system,as there was NO registration service even at that time.....we now have EMT,Advanced,Paramedic,ICP levels with examination...IF anyone wants the CORRECT information...please ask ME anytime....we have already taken legal action oversees from those who have forged AREMT registrations and misrepresented our service.....to all our professional EMS friends...many have said to us that something is better than nothing for registration safeguards...at this present time...and for those who get all the FACTS wrong...these certainly are misleading....we have been here for 10 years....we are not in it for the money.....happy to answer any legitimate questions at aremt2010@gmail.com.
