Any chance you would consider someone with no experience? I just got certified and am looking around for weekend volunteer opportunities but there aren't many volunteer squads in eastern mass.

I suspect I might have it but am a little afraid to get diagnosed...
Reasons I think I have it include:
1) inability to maintain a social life for an extended period
2) often "tune out" when other people are talking
3) bad at following complex verbal directions
4) can't sit/stand still
5)...
Correct me if I am wrong but weren't the punishments for the previous MA recert scandals pretty lenient? Mostly just suspensions ranging from 30 to 180 days? I think only the instructors got their credentials pulled?
My class required 4 hours ER and 8 hours Ambulance. Unfortunately the ambulance ride-along waiver stated "no direct patient contact" so not much opportunity for learning other than asking lots of questions between calls.
I am currently taking an EMT-B course while working 40 hours a week and many other people do the same. You should have no problem if you are mature enough to attend all the classes and study a little before each exam.
