    mecklenburg (medic) testing

How difficult was the testing center? Ive worked for a non-emergency ambulance company in South Fl for the past 2 years but have not had much luck finding a job. I am probably going to test with Mecklenberg and hope the 2 years exp will bump up that starting pay to a decent salary.

Verbilization of establishing an IV and online mega codes

Well I think they require both the hands on skill and verbalization to go along with it. Dont know why when it should be obvious if you know how to do it properly but not my choice. Good idea on the NREMT site ill have to look at that

Verbilization of establishing an IV and online mega codes

Verbilization of establishing an IV and online mega codes

If anyone here was taught specific verbalization for establishing an IV I would really appreciate it if you could post it here. When I was in school the hands on was more important than the verbalization but I have a practical exam coming up and I want to make sure I hit all the points. Also...

Your thoughts on Fast Track Paramedic Specialist Program

5 months is pretty fast man. I did an 8 month program and I thought it was pretty fast but a solid program if you put in the required effort. I would have done a normal length program but I already spent 5 years in college and know what it takes to be a good student(even though I didnt use...

Go ahead and go right into the medic course while learning A&P on your own. Purchase a bunch of books and one of those huge sets of flashcards off amazon then study it on your own time. You can also attend a class without being enrolled in it, just find out when large lecture A&P classes are...

Medic School is alot more intensive than EMT-B. EMT-B could be passed with an A average by a middle school student. Its good that you dont have to work during the class but dont expect it to be a repeat of EMT-B and definitely plan on reading the chapters...several times for things like patho...
