1. What happened to scene safety?
2. Uniforms need to NOT be monochrome and same color as local PD.
3. We do NOT need badges on our uniforms.
Not saying any of this occurred or contributed, just speaking big picture based on limited info and pics provided.
While good for your colleagues, it is bad in the sense it allows mission creep and never fully addresses the issues of why you even need to go round and assist to start with. It shows admin that even with your busy program, you are capable and willing to float and help. This means it will become...
One of my secret fantasies (well no longer secret now) was to create a nursing program that absolutely focuses on and steers the student the way they want to go. Example…you want to be Critical Care or ER, then everything is geared towards that goal from the ground up. You wanna do Med Surg...
Well....after receiving bad info from three different people, I finally got the right info. And NOW, the schedule does work! LOL
I just knew those payroll cutoff times were shyte, and it didn't make sense, however I could only go on what I was told and keep questioning until it made sense...
Example...the pay period of 2/25 - 3/9
I have A shift with 80 hours, B with 96, C and D with 64. I am having total brain fart here LOL....and gonna reconfirm some info given to me because this just doesn't seem right with the pay periods.
Maybe I am doing something wrong?? I cannot find my error yet.
Pay period starts at 0001 Sunday and ends 2359 Saturday. So it is creating some wide hourly variances. (I think)

Maybe the cath patient was a bad example. There are a lot of...
A lot of the current discussion from my involvement is related to flight. You gave a great response regarding ground ambulances. But the inherent risk of flight is where this topic is more relevant.
So does a crew need to get in the air to transport that tele patient at 0200 or should it wait...
It doesn’t March out as hourly employees relative to paycheck size and hours worked.
Sat midnight to sat midnight a 24/72 creates a HUGE mess when you March it out.
So it is kind of ill defined because they say potentially, and they say soon after arrival. So it seems like a sending facility could play with the potential part and then also how quick is quick?
Open to input of anything. Seeing if there is something I have not encountered before.
Number of crew is not going to change. Number of shifts not changing.
So what else is out there? Might be something fun to try out.
Trying to tap brains of all y’all fine folk. Here are the details.
4 crews
24 hours max
No Kelly days
Hourly wage
Goal is to eliminate the 12 that is currently sprinkled in.
How can we maximize 24 hour shifts or is it simply not gonna happen?
24/72 while sexy does not work. lol
