Too Many
I go through about 1 pair a week on a busy week. Usually dont have a pair last longer than 2 weeks. The blades just get too dull after cutting through
10 + pairs of dirtbike pants and jerseys a day.
So I have been an EMT in Ca for over a year. Work 3 awesome part time EMT jobs with great trauma experience at all 3. The only down fall is I am not getting 24 hour shifts, benefits, paid for my over time, ETC. I have done the math and found I would more than double my pay if I got a full time...

EMT ACHIEVE. its like 20 buck and its an online national registry prep test with a bunch of dif test and registry prep questions. that and a brady book is all you need to pass. take every test and quiz on that site till you get an 80% or better each time and read all od the bold in your brady...

I go 45 miles each way for 10 an hour, no benifits, working 6 or 12 hour shifts for 1 year. Just now realizing between gas, time, and car expenses/wear and tare. It was definately not worth it.
They dont treat there employes very well and they are super strict about time off and checks are always late. just not a fun place to work...this is from personal experiance.
DONT APPLY TO AMERISCARE!!!!! Care is good. also Emergency amb does brea fire and IFTS there good. AMR. Good experiance try Mc cormic(there the lowest payed amb company in CA tho) IFT amb you make more money cuz most of the pts have insurance. most ambulances you get about 10...ish ifts around...

Where i work i go through about a pair of shears a week. sometimes more. This tool only comes with the bolt on attachment. Works great for cutting through dirtbike pants or any thicker material that would take a normal pair of shears sometime.
