I have found the criminal conviction policy for the National Registry it states
However I cannot find the Criminal Conviction Policy for the State of North Carolina. I graduated EMT-Basic back in December 2013 however I was charged with a crime and received a differed prosecution so I never went to sit for my state exam. I am currently in the processes of having my criminal record completely expunged and it is thankfully looking promising. My question is if my criminal record is expunged will I be able to become certified as an EMT-Basic or a Paramedic when I graduate the class in the State of North Carolina? If anyone can provide a link to the specific policy that would be most appreciated!
- Applicants are not required to disclose any criminal conviction that has been expunged from the public record or a deferred adjudication that did not result in the entry of a conviction judgment.
