I'm trying to find a decent "pouch" to house my stethoscope, shears, light, etc. The idea being when I'm on fire shift I can have it together and ready to drop into my bunker pants if we get a medical or MVA, but not have my stuff in there if we respond to a fire. I saw a really nice 5.11 at the station, but it was a hand-me-down and I can't find it online.

Any recommendations?

You'd impress the fire crew if you wore a fanny pack.
A murse would be better. Then you could throw it behind you when you don't need it. I think Coach has a tactical series.

I've seen a bunker gear fanny pack. Pretty sure I would be so many levels of awesome with that.

You guys laugh but a big black fanny pack with basic medical gear is actually SOP at my department....Funny how only the probationary guys seem to wear them lol

Maybe keep that stuff in your moniter or first in bag?

I suppose if I were to use anything I would go with a fanny pack and be proud of it.

You could just not do that. And just grab that stuff when you actually need it.

EMI makes holsters that would match your needs.

One of the guys at my job has one and its pretty nifty. It stays in the back, but has a stethoscope, pair of gloves, shears, and pen light (that I could see). I was thinking about getting one, but don't wanna spend extra money when my backpack basically accomplishes the same goal.

Throw the stethoscope on the dash and grab it when you need it. If you can't put it in your cargo pockets you don't need it.
