Hello,

As you see this is my first post. I will introduce myself before I actually pose my question:
My name is Zoli, and I am 18 year old,and I live in an Eastern-European country,Romania. I can't really say that I am a paramedic, but I am a voluntary Muntain Rescuer,as having grown up in a remote town, high up in the mountains. At the age of 5 we have moved into a major city in our country. Every year I do my 2 month assigment (starting from september) in a dangerous and isolated outpost in the high 2000m's. Unfortunately, due to our bureocratic and impotent elite, leadership (sitting in the capital, funding and organizing us,forgot to train us with even the most basic first aid (which is a must,EMS can't reach us,so we must provide a patient with medical treatment). This summer I have been reading first aid manuals, and building my first aid kit (and this is where my question starts) : One basic thing is missing: Antihemmoragic/homostatic agents,I have done my research,in the US you guys have Celox or QuikClot avabile, but we don't. I am looking to procure some kind of external, local agent (Powder or something like that) to treat severe bleeding. What do you reccommend me?

Thanks!
