At my company full time is 72 hours a week. We can only pick up extra hours to a max of 96 hours a week. In addition, we are only aloud to work maximum of 48 hours in a row.
My personal favorites are the 5.11 Sleet 8's I have had my current pair for 2 years (of at least 50 hours a week of wear) now and they are in great shape. Plus they were comfortable right out of the box and reasonably priced.
I ordered them from Atlantic Tactical and got a bunch of free stuff...
As a hopefully future "Police Deputy (Paramedic Assignment)" with the mentioned sheriff department. After alot of bored hours on the internet I have only found one other agency who even has a program that compairs to the one here, its also here in Michigan.
I'm back and forth on it myself. After I get my certs of course.

The whole thing sort of makes me wonder if there is a feud that we don't all know about. Either between the PD and the FD, the officer and the FD, or the officer and the FF.
But either way, that cop must of been having a bad day.
On a ride along not to long ago we had to transport a pt from a very rural hospital to one of our larger city's mental health facility. The pt was clearly suffering from bi-polar 2. Which made conversations with him very interesting, so when be became too involved in what he was talking about...
