    I-99 to NRP transition courses

Jon, PA has committed to having PA EMT-P transition done by March of 2017. Like most states they are planning on implementing it as part of a Paramedic refresher so you likely won't see it posted as a transition alone. PA, as you already know, is still stuck waiting on the politicians to...

    I-99 to NRP transition courses

It is now 6 days after the official NREMT release of states to conduct I-99 to NRP (not NREMT-P anymore). Does anyone know of any classes being offered? I am willing to travel to any state to attend and I am also sharing this with expat co-workers from all over the states, so anywhere and any...

Massachusetts EMT Protocols/Differences from National Curriculum

If you have a smartphone, Mass offers free apps with the protocols. Best to download the info from the state and read it yourself than rely on hearsay. You can also download a PDF copy from the states website

    Registering for BDLS Online Course?

eBDLS The online course has been suspended pending the release of the new version to be released two months ago. Only students preregistered for the last program may enter the website to complete the old version. Guessing if the AMA (which runs the site) works as fast as NREMT we may see the...

    Non-Affiliated Companies and Recertification

Rocketmedic, I have my affiliation with the State Dept. which does not report to NREMT. To do my recert, I attend JTM's SF Medic Refresher at Nellis AFB where their medical director signs my registry paperwork and have had no problems, so you should be just fine.

    NREMT-I99 bridge to Paramedic

So after many emails and searches I have been that the transition courses are not approved to be conducted until April 1, 2012. Of the States that I am qualified in VA and NC stated they won't have classes till at least May, but they have no dates or locations. PA does not recognize my EMT-I...

    My NREMT

Wishing you luck!! Remember what you have in your book is what they will test you on, nothing else. Always stick with your first answer. And the test is based on "best answer" not the only answer. So don't over think it, just answer it with your best answer. You passed your prep tests to...

How did you know I was an Airline pilot? And now that I am at 5 posts, I can link to facts. I have read of few of your posts and watching House on AFN, you lack the true Cynical ability to be any more then another disgruntled poster that would counter that it took a mommy and daddy to make you...

USAFMedic45: {Any evidence to back this up or are you just talking to hear your head rattle? } An opinion is exactly that, opinions do not require evidence as they are theoretical in view. [Come again? I think I see what you're getting at but I think that speaks more to the immaturity or...

    Non-Affiliated Companies and Recertification

The work experience requirement will always be a stumbling block for National REgistry. As noted it is difficult to monitor who is working where. Many states do not care about work experience and loath the NREMT's for trying to lower their stats with such ideas. They want to tell their...

    My NREMT

It's my opinion that over teaching is what causes some of the issues once people hit the street. Basics attempting skills they were taught but not in scope can not only cost a certificate but a life. Working on the Federal level it is frustrating enough seeing people that don't know the...

    NREMT-I99 bridge to Paramedic

NREMT transition I tried to respond with links to the appropriate answers for no "second hand" info, but I need to post 5 times before I can include links, so here is the deal. Google NREMT transition policy. You will find that if you expire in 2012, you have till 2018 to do the transition...
