    Well, I'm not allowed to do any IVs, not to mention that as a BLS provider, we wouldn't even have that in the truck. We are taught that if the pt loses consciousness, we have to get ALS.

    Hmm. This would be a Trauma Alert pt because of the height he fell from and lower extremity paralysis. I would put him on a long spine board with c-spine consideration.     I would have definitely have asked a PD officer to get the driver and focused on getting the pt I was working with packaged and transported.
