My ambu cert was just put "under review" because of prescription meds that I take (and have been taking for years). They want to make sure I'm a safe driver. I've got a CA driver license and a spotless record as well, but unless I get my cert back soon I could lose my...
I was 15 min early, dressed awesome, hair up and tats/piercings covered. Took off all my jewelery. The usual. I know there are at least 2 positions available...hopefully I'm in, thanks guys I'll keep you posted.
The only thing I'm worried about is when I was asked why I got into EMS I told...
I had an interview this morning with a private company that was extremely quick... usually they last for like half an hour, with lots of questions regarding situations I've been in, etc.
This one, they asked me some basic questions like would I pass a drug test and if I knew my way around...
My buddies ran this call. Crazy story right? Try hearing it from the lead medic on the call. So gnarly! Poor guy though, seriously. He went totally nuts (couldn't help myself).
General question, does anyone know if yet another live scan is going to be mandatory to obtain your ambulance license even after the Central Registry transition in a few weeks? I've been putting it off but I really need to get my license because my employer is on my a**. I just don't want to...

As an EMT-B, do I need to obtain Lifeguarding Certification although I already have water rescue training if I want to work in a camp setting as a waterfront director? I can't find the answer anywhere, and I don't want to spend the money if I don't need to.
Huh, I didn't get a whiteboard when I tested even though I read that some tests did get one. I thought NR just wasn't one of them. If I did get one I don't think I would have used it. I am a visual learner but I don't know what I would have needed it for, looking back.
And about duplicate...
Thanks, maybe she'll believe you more than me. Although still not hearing from them has her on her toes. It took a week or so for me to find out, I don't know how long it takes for others. Or maybe it's different because it was a friday.
My roommate took NR today, and she's pretty shaky about how she did. I explained to her that I was really unsure too but it didn't make her feel any better. Did ANYONE walk out of NR knowing for sure that they rocked it? I feel like there's a huge difference in being confident that you did...
