I'm in medic school as well, and it *is* hard, I spend almost every waking minute of every day studying. It'll be worth it, though, when I finish next year.

I've seen the ghosts ever since I lost her. Young girl, asthmatic. I kept getting the ET tube in the esophagus and by the time my partner had taken over and got it in properly it was too late.

It's pretty cool. You can make traditional flashcards that you can either use on your computer or print out, or you can make a multiple choice quiz with the cards.
Other than that, probably the best advice is to just open the book and keep up...
I had a patient complaining of the "worst headache" he's "ever had". So bad that he was "seeing squiggly lines". We get there and he literally has a book bag full of prescription bottles for various drugs, probably about 30-40 bottles, all of them being full/unopened except for his Oxycontin...
My Basic class started with 28-30 people and we finished with 11 or 12. :I
I'm in Paramedic school now and there are definitely some rather, lets say "unmotivated" individuals in my classes that I don't see lasting very long.
